Yangon-Bagan-Mandalay-Mingun-Ava-Sagaing-Inle Trip (8 Days / 7 Nights )

DAY 1 ARRIVE YANGON

Upon arrival to YANGON airport you will be welcomed by our local tour guide. Your journey begins tour through Yangon’s colonial-style buildings city center & city hall. Visit Mahabandoola Park, KABAR AYE (WORLD PEACE) PAGODA , SULE PAGODA (outer view), dating back over 2,000 years ago, and the magnificent reclining Buddha CHAUK HTAT GYI. Complete your first day in Myanmar with a visit to one of the world’s most spectacular monuments, the SHWEDAGON PAGODA, overnight stay at Hotel in Yangon.

DAY 2  YANGON-BAGAN (By AM flight)

At the morning, you will be transferred to the airport for domestic flight to BAGAN. Visit  start  the day with visits to the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including SHWEZIGON PAGODA, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; GU BYANUK GYI, a temple with superb murals of Jataka scenes; KHAY MIN GA TEMPLE, noted for its panoramic view of the area’s numerous monuments and ANANDA TEMPLE, with four standing Buddha images ,THET BYAE NYU PAGODA, BU PAYA, ALOTAWPYAE PAGODA and DAMMANYANGYI TEMPLE. After that, in the evening proceed to SHWE SAN DAW temple to watch the sunset at Shwe Sandaw Pagoda. Overnight stay in Bagan.

After breakfast, visit colorful local market Nyaung Oo Market and will continue to visit one of Myanmar’s most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware craftsmen’s workshop in nearby MYINKABA village. Then visit MANUHA TEMPLE, built in the Mon-style in 1059 and follow on to NANBAYA TEMPLE, a unique sandstone monument said to have been the palace of King Manuha. Next you will explore the UNESCO protected MYINGABA GU BYAUKGYI TEMPLE, a temple known for its mural paintings. Overnight stay in Bagan.

DAY 4 BAGAN – MANDALAY (By AM flight)

After Breakfast at Hotel ,you will be transferred for flight to Mandalay. Arrive in Mandalay. Your journey begins with a visit to Amarapura and their visit to the Mahagandayon Monastery. In the morning, we can see the monks taking breakfast and the way of life of monks in this monastery. Continue visit to U Bein Teak Bridge, built in 1849. Then drive to Mahamuni Pagoda, is a Buddhist temple and major pilgrimage site and has been covered with pieces of gold leaf. Take a break lunch at Local Restaurant.

After Lunch, we will check in at your hotel and take a rest a few hours. We will visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, known also as the world’s biggest book. Then we’ll visit to Golden Palace Monastery (Shwe Nandaw Kyaung) and Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda to view the huge marble Buddha. Sunset at the top of Mandalay Hill, 230 meters in elevation, commands a magnificent view of the city and surrounding countryside. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Mandalay.

DAY 5 MANDALAY- MINGUN-AVA-SAGAING

After breakfast, transfer to the Mandalay jetty and board a local boat for a cruise on the Irrawaddy River to Mingun. Continue visit to Mingun Pahtodawgyi, Mingun Bell with weighs 90 tons and is considered the world’s largest uncracked ringing bell. Our car waiting at Mingun.Then continue south of the city to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries, where a short ferry boat ride will take us cross the river to where our horse-carts are waiting. Visit to Yandanar Hsimi Padoda - a group of small stupas in ruins, old Wooden Bagaya Monastery, Royal Place and Fort. Then visit to Mae Nu Oak Kyaung, also known as Maha Aung Myay Bonzan Monastery, was built in 1822 by King Bagyidaw’s wife, Nanmadaw Mae Nu. Lunch at local restaurant.

Transfer to the Sagaing and visit to local market, where you will find a wide range of items including locally made pottery, silver and other handicrafts. Next visit to Sagaing Hill. Sagaing with numerous Buddhist monasteries is an important religious and monastic center. We will visit to U Min Thonze Pagoda and Soon U Ponya Shin Pagoda. Enjoy sunset from Sagaing Hill with magnificent views of the city and Ayeyarwady River. Back to your hotel and overnight at Mandalay.

DAY 6 MANDALAY – HEHO- INLE LAKE (By AM flight)

After early breakfast, transfer to airport for domestic flight to HEHO. Upon arrival, drive to NYAUNG SHWE (25 km – 1 hour) and take the boat ride to Inle Lake. Day excursion by boat on the Inle Lake will include sights of the famous leg rowers, typical floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and magnificent scenery. You will visit the PHAUNG DAW OO PAGODA, one of the most sacred shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century; SILVER SMITH, BLACK SMITH AND WEAVING WORKSHOPS in YWA-MA and INPAWKHON and the NGA PHE KYAUNG MONASTERY (JUMPING CAT MONASTERY), wonderfully carved wooden floating monastery and famous for its jumping cats trained by monks. Overnight stay in INLE LAKE.

DAY 7 INLE –HEHO- YANGON (By AM flight)

After breakfast at the hotel, check out from Hotel and transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Yangon. Arrive to Yangon, visit Botahtaung Pagoda and shopping stroll through the BOGYOKE (SCOTTS) MARKET, a compound of hundreds of food, garment, handicraft and gem stores and free shopping at Myanmar Plaza. After dinner time, overnight stay in Yangon.

DAY 8 YANGON -  DEPARTURE

After breakfast at the hotel, check out from Hotel and transfer to International airport for your departure flight.
